This is my new favourite cafe on Union Road. The decor is soothing and relaxing. Comfortable seating, and plenty of space between tables. Lovely, attentive and kind staff. The Cornflake Crispy Chicken that I ordered was absolutely delicious and generously portioned. Berry Blast smoothy came with the biggest diameter straw I've ever seen and was yum. I will definitely go again.

Lovely experience every day, coffee always spot on and the loyalty card makes it even better. Staff so well mannered. Wish I could eat inside more as it’s got relaxing atmosphere but I have the dog. The energy ball is a great takeaway snack. There’s a coffee croissant combo that is good value.

Nice small cafe. 100% halal. Food was good and prices were fine too. They did forget the extra ice cream we asked for with the waffles and we noticed once my son had finished half of it. Overall it’s a nice place for breakfast and coffee.

Tried the new cafe on Union Rd, nice and clean, busy but not uncomfortable. Gluten free options and I think they’re halal because there was no pork products- beef strips instead of bacon, turkey “ham”. Quite decent.

Éclat Café in Ascot Vale is a charming little spot that serves up consistently good coffee—smooth, well-balanced, and often topped with adorable bunny coffee art that adds a fun and whimsical touch to your morning brew. The food menu is solid, with highlights including the Splash Avo, which is full of flavour and beautifully presented. The porridge was comforting and nicely done, though it could benefit from a more generous serving of fruit to round it out. The blueberry pancakes don’t actually have blueberries, but instead a blueberry sauce. Once again not a big portion. You have to pay extra if you want a ball of ice cream. There are a couple of steps at the entrance and a few more inside, which may be a barrier for those with mobility issues. Thankfully, there are outdoor tables available, which can be a more accessible option.

10/10 place service, food, and alhamdullilah it’s all halal we tried several dishes since we couldn’t decide on what to get because everything on the menu sounded amazing!!! The lamb tacos were packed with flavor—tender meat, fresh toppings, and just the right spice. The arancini balls were crispy outside, cheesy and creamy inside—so addictive. The shakshuka was warm and comforting, with perfectly poached eggs in a rich, spiced tomato sauce. For dessert, the cheesecake was creamy and just sweet enough, and the biscotti tart had the perfect crunch. But the croissant pudding with vanilla ice cream stole the show—soft, buttery, and melt-in-your-mouth good and I loveeeeddd the chocolate chips in it!!! Can’t wait to come back for more! Special thanks to the amazing chefs, 10/10 presentation, and food
